I thoroughly enjoy blogging and social media, and although I don’t have special training in either one, I observe what other people do, try to emulate what I like, and avoid doing the things I find annoying. I guess I must be doing something right, because I’ve been selected as a contestant in Blog-Off II, a competition to find “the best social media and marketing experts who know how to command top online social media and marketing performance.”

The competition begins today and runs through to December 12^th. During that time, participants from Canada, the US, Italy, the UK, the Netherlands and India, will each contribute at least two posts to the Community Marketing Blog. Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of eight judges, and the top three bloggers will receive some very exciting and valuable prizes.

The judging criteria include the quality of the headlines and the writing itself, and naturally I’ll put forth my best effort. My posts will also be rated according to the number of visits and comments they receive, and that’s where I need your support.
