From the Desk of Janet Barclay

Only hours after finding out about the “Brillante Weblog Premio Award,” I learned that I had been selected to receive the VAccolade Business Entrepreneur Award from the Virtual Assistant Networking Association (VANA)!

This truly is an honour, as it means that I was nominated by one of my clients, business colleagues, or peers (Thank you, whoever you are!) and that the VAccolade Committee felt I deserved the award, based on an evaluation of:

• My contributions to the forum
• The copywriting, usability, search engine friendliness, design and content of my website
• My all around business savvy and good judgment
• My strong USP (unique selling proposition)
• My adherence to the VANA member ethics

Although this award is granted on a weekly basis, with over 9000 members worldwide, it’s a great thrill for me to have been chosen, and I’ll certainly do my best to live up to it!
