The Unveiling

by Janet ~ July 30th, 2008. Filed under: Newsworthy Notes.

You know that old proverb about the shoemaker’s children going barefoot? The same applies to web designers! After studying CSS last year and applying those skills to design sites for a number of clients, I’ve been just itching to redo my own site! And finally… (drum roll please)… it’s done! But that’s not all!

I’ve also moved my blog to this new site so I can also take advantage of some the cool things you can do with WordPress that I’ve learned about, including the following widgets:

At the upper right hand side of your screen, you’ll see a box labelled “What Should I Write About?” Please feel free to suggest topics you’d like to read about.

At the bottom of each entry, there’s a “Share” button, so if you see something you like, you can easily email it to a friend or post it to one of your social networking profiles.

I won’t be importing the posts from my old blog, but you’ll find a link to it in the sidebar under “My Other Sites” if you ever want to refer back to something I wrote earlier.

I’m very excited about all these new features – not to mention the new look! But that’s still not all!

Scott and I are also thrilled to announce the launch of The Organized Marketplace. Over the past few years, I’ve recommended quite a few products for Maximizing Your Time and Space on my website, in my ezine and in my blogs, and now, for the very first time, we’ve assembled all that information in one place! Be sure to check it out to learn about our own products along with many others that will help you to get organized and to grow your business.

Don’t forget to update your RSS feeds!
